Paperclip Chain: Necklace (Amber Glory)

On one side, a stainless steel paperclip chain doesn't apologise for its size — link after link, straight and sure, the kind of chain that means business even sitting still. Then, right where it would normally just keep going, everything changes. A polished gold magnetic sphere holds the two halves together like a held breath, and past it, the necklace turns quiet: a thread of sky-blue seed beads no bigger than a poppy seed, sliding into deep green, then breaking open into a run of faceted amber-orange crystal that catches whatever light's in the room and throws it back warmer than it came in.
